Being a Beginner Week When I first started designing plushie patterns, I had no idea what I was doing. And at the time, I thought that there was only one way to go about it: by drawing out shapes on paper and re-doing them over and over, until they looked right. Granted, this is a perfectly fine approach, and has worked well for countless people. But especially for a beginner who has little clue what sort of shapes will work best, there are other techniques to try as well - ones I wish I had known about when I began my journey into pattern-making. I’m going to introduce a few different approaches to pattern-making. My hope is that, fro
